Worship and Music...Singing & Music

Cantate!
Four (+) part small vocal ensemble. Members should be able to read music and enjoy fast-paced learning of anthems and hymn-parts. Members must be at least in high school and able to work on their parts on their own if they have to miss a rehearsal. Cantate! will rehearse once a month and participate in worship the following Sundays. Attire: Cantate! Will wear solid color shirts on the Sundays they participate in worship. Sunday rehearsal will be at 10:00. Accompanist: Diana Gillespie Rehearsals will be 7:30-9:00 First Thursday of the month.

Chancel Choir
Three or four part vocal ensemble. Members should be familiar with some music reading skills and must be at least high school age. Chancel Choir will rehearse twice a month and will participate in worship on the following Sundays, and on Sundays that follow a “Fifth Thursday” Attire: Chancel Choir members will wear choir robes regularly when they participate in worship. Rehearsals will be on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Sunday Rehearsals will be at 10:00. Accompanist: Celest Rose.

Rejoice!
Gathering Song worship team. Open to those who would like to participate on a rotating basis in leading gathering songs in worship. Those who play guitar or other instruments are welcome as well. Rejoice will meet on an as-needed basis, and will be scheduled to accommodate the participants. (Rehearsals will most likely be on Sundays after church or specially scheduled Saturdays) No special attire required. Accompanist: Tim Gillespie.

Tintinnabulations
Cantate! Chancel Choir Rejoice! Tintinnabulations Handbell Choir for experienced ringers or musicians. Tintinnabulations will rehearse once a month and will participate in worship as scheduled. (Eleven members are needed for a full three octave choir) Rehearsals will be on the first Thursday of the month. Sunday rehearsals will be 8:30 a.m. Accompanist: Diana Gillespie (as needed) Rehearsals will be 6:30-7:30 on the first Thursday of the month.
