| We are a community of faith united in exploring what it means to follow the way of Jesus Christ, to be a people of God and to love and care for our neighbors and the whole created order. As a church we will recognize no circles of exclusion, no walls that separate, no boundaries that can't be crossed and no loyalties above those which we owe to God. | ||||||||||||||||

Sunday Schedule
Naming What you Really Believe For many Christians, what we believe necessarily evolves in response to insights into the Bible, to questions or doubts we face, to changes in life circumstances, or to things that happen in the larger world. Even the most devout Christians may struggle to identify what they can most fully believe at a given moment. Such clarity both empowers the present and leads us toward the future, serving as mile markers by which we measure our faith journey. A Faith of Your Own is a helpful guide to defining and articulating one's personal beliefs in a consistent way. It lists the most common ways a certain topic is understood in the Bible, identifies important ways the church has interpreted that topic since the Bible's inception, and introduces contemporary perspectives. With that foundational knowledge, readers can make a judgment as to which viewpoints seem more or less persuasive to them personally. Each chapter concludes with questions for reflection. The book's author, Ronald J. Allen, will be a guest speaker on February 19, 2012. TALK BACK 11:15 am - noon -- Fellowship Hall Talk Back sessions are an open conversation facilitated by Wyatt Watkins focused on questions, reflections and experiences prompted by the preceding worship service. The conversation may tie to stories in the news, life events, etc. Together participants will create a time and space for further exploration of worship themes and experiences in a casual format.

Nurturing the curiosity of young
people in the way of Jesus is our goal. How do kids connect
the formative experience of their lives to the grace and hope of the
Gospel? Through Bible-focused curricula, our teaching staff
engages children of all ages in the time-tested task of integrating
the stories of our faith with their own. In the process, all
learn and grow together!
