Worship at Cumberland combines thoughtful faith ritual with lively and authentic expressions of community, as we strive to encounter God and connect deeply with one another. Through creative musical expression, art, poetry, dialogue and strong preaching, we aim to re-present the Gospel in terms both timeless and today.
Expect to be surprised, delighted and moved, as each Sunday a faith family encounters anew the gospel of hope and challenge.
While we treat liturgy thoughtfully, worship at Cumberland is informal and 'come-as-you-are.' The building is accessible and elevator-equipped. A nursery and children's church run concurrently with worship, administered by trained and screened staff and volunteers using the Shine curriculum and a mixture of in-house materials.
